ID-3D Design was one of the first design firms in the US to successfully integrate the computer in the Industrial design process, creating “virtual products” which allow for a clearer understanding of the designer's intent and enable the design team to evaluate a product's form–as well as mechanical characteristics– early in the product's development. Formed in 1981 under the name Talesfore Design, ID-3D Design is lead by Mr. Nicholas Talesfore, I.D.S.A., who has served on the Product and Industrial Design Advisory Board for The Academy of Art College in San Francisco, and The Enterprise Network (TEN).
